Skeptical of God-Kings

The political designation “the left” originated during the French Revolution in 1789.

In the National Assembly, those who opposed the king’s veto and supported change sat on the left side of the assembly president, while those favoring traditional royal privileges sat on the right.

This seating arrangement led to the terms “left” and “right” to describe political positions, with “left” representing more radical and progressive views.

The “right” favored the god-king.

If you’re skeptical of the god-king, welcome to “the Left”.

Be an American patriot.
