Very few have the skill to notice and the will to do something about it.
The reasons are geopolitical, technological, and trauma-induced.
Kids too young for any living memory of 9/11 were raised in a terrified society. They reached middle school right when mobile, social, and cloud technology became ubiquitous. It also enabled digital ostracism amongst students. So, some sought therapy. There, along with active shooter drills, they learned the language of hostile and toxic actors.
Now, they have accurately identified the gerontocracy as the threat.
