People will buy a ticket to their sportsball team and shed tears that the grown men wearing colors, fiberglass and polyester didn’t perform to expectations.
If people will pick up their phone, dial a number, and call into a talk-radio station in the middle of the day to put their hometown sports team on blast, then criticizing the elected officials who don’t live up to expectations isn’t a stretch of the imagination.
